RT Law from May 14, 2014 № 36 -LRT "On Amendments to the Land Code of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Annulment of Certain Provisions of Legislative Acts of the Republic of Tatarstan"

       At the federal level the provision of lands clarified for peasant (farmer's) economy, as well as the organization, protection and use of specially protected nature areas relating to their categories establishment, the creation and development features,  the  specially protected areas state provisions were adjusted.

       Similar changes have been made to the Land Code of the Republic of Tatarstan.

       Exhaustive list of specially protected lands includes: lands of specially protected natural territories; environmental protection; recreation; historical and cultural significance; particularly valuable lands. Protected zones are established to prevent adverse human impacts on the state nature reserves, national parks and natural monuments.

       Regulation on compulsory withdrawal and termination of rights to land plots from farmlands is invalidated, as this issue is regulated at the federal level.

       Moreover, the right to dispose of lands within the boundaries of Kazan, provided to joint stock companies incorporated in the privatization of the republic property, was transferred to the local authorities of Kazan.

       The Act entered into force on May 27, 2014.
