In 40 municipal districts 228 illegal quarries located at agricultural lands were identified

       According to the Federal State Statistics Service of the Office of the Republic of Tatarstan, during the audits in 40 municipal districts were identified 228 illegal quarries, which are located on agricultural land. In order to prevent illegal activity on the quarries development on common minerals output, the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of RT conducted in the districts exit examinations to establish violations on land plots, owned by legal entities and individuals.

Under the Land Code of the Russian Federation, agricultural land can be used for agricultural production, protective forest plantations, research, training and other related to agricultural production purposes, as well as for aquaculture (fish farming).

        Thus, the use of agricultural land for the specified needs without transfer of agricultural land to industrial land and other special purposes is not allowed.
