Today, in the Kazan Kremlin, an agreement on mutual cooperation was signed between the Republic of Tatarstan and JSC "AK" Transneft ". Document was signed by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and President, Chairman of the Board of JSC "AK" Transneft "Nikolay Tokarev.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Nikolai Tokarev for the visit to Tatarstan, for support to the country, assistance in solving strategic tasks, participation in social projects.
"Transneft" - strategic partner of Tatarstan. The oil refining industry are the basis of Tatarstan economy. The annual volume of deliveries of production enterprises of the republic against the companies "Transneft" are about 20 billion Rubles. "Transneft-Kama" - one of the basic budget forming enterprises of Republic, it’s taking part in the implementation of national social projects. The role of enterprises in Tatarstan's development is very big, "- said the President of Tatarstan.
According to him, signing the agreement today is aimed at the implementation of the general plan for the development of long-term cooperation of Tatarstan enterprises with one of the key companies in Russia. "Our relations are moving to a higher level. Tatarstan is aimed at further development. In 2015, Republic has maintained the volume of investment in fixed assets. Now there is construction of another installation of primary oil refining in the "TANECO". We will build new petrochemical plants, primarily ethylene complex. At the platform of "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" is planned to build two plants for the production of ethylene capacity of 600 thousand tonnes per year. In our Strategy 2030, these projects are the main points of the growth of the republic ", - said Rustam Minnikhanov.
In turn, Nikolai Tokarev said that the signed agreement on social and economic cooperation between the "AK" Transneft "and the Republic of Tatarstan will allow to solve many common questions regarding production activity, for charity projects and others.
"I hope that the signed document will meet the challenges faced by Tatarstan and "Transneft" and the whole of Russia. Specific activities, measures of responsibility of the parties for the decisions provided for in the framework document. This is one of the best examples of the need to cooperate "Transneft" and regions " - said Nikolay Tokarev.
