A republican youth anti-corruption forum dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day was held today in the Kazan IT-park. The event was held in a discussion format. The Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin took part in the forum.
Having greeted the guests on behalf of the republic's leadership, the head of the parliament noted that serious attention is paid to the fight against corruption in Tatarstan. A whole range of measures has been developed at the federal and regional levels: a reliable legislative and regulatory framework has been created, organizational decisions have been made to prevent and minimize corruption, and the activities of law enforcement and supervisory bodies have been stepped up.
On December 9, 2020, a regular meeting of the commission under the Minister of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan on combating corruption was held with the participation of Oleg Bulgakov, a representative of the Public Council under the Ministry of Land Property of the Republic of Tatarstan, executive director of the non-profit partnership "Union of Appraisers of the Republic of Tatarstan" was held.
Today a press conference on the topic "Prevention of corruption in the field of land and property relations" with the participation of Deputy Minister Rustem Shameev was held in the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications Tatmedia. During his speech, Rustem Shameev spoke about the organization of control over the use of state property by state institutions and compliance with the requirements of anti-corruption legislation by subordinate organizations. Since 2009, the Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan annually inspects the safety of state property and the efficiency of its use by institutions.
