Representatives of the Ministry of land and property of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chamber of Property and Land (Administrations) of cities and districts of the republic, NP Union of Appraisers of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in a seminar organized by TIDA and Sberbank on the basis of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan on attracting extrabudgetary funds to PPP projects. The seminar was opened by the head of TIDA Taliya Minullina, who expressed concern about the lag of Tatarstan in PPP projects with the potentially high development potential of an important area of attracting investment. Speaking further, the head of the PPP Center, member of the Sberbank Board of Directors (Moscow), Viktor Afonin, highlighted the possibilities of debt financing in PPP projects, spoke about the projects implemented by Sberbank in the Russian Federation and the role of participants in PPP consortia.

During the seminar-meeting, best practices and current trends in the field of PPP, recommendations on the structuring of concession projects, the possibility of state support in the formation of sources of financing concession projects were reviewed. In the financial aspects of structuring PPP projects, the importance of a preliminary (when developing a financial model) and final evaluation of projects was emphasized.

The workshop ended with project work in groups on the use of PPP principles (MPP) in the territory of municipal districts and urban districts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On May 25, 2019, the traditional environmental protection action “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” took place in the republic. As part of this campaign, a Day of harvesting forests was held. The friendly and well-coordinated work of the protesters was facilitated by the warm and sunny weather.
